As the 1st nine weeks comes to a close, I just wanted to make sure that all 5th Grade parents are 'in the loop". Again, if there is anyone that you know, who may not be receiving the emails please have them email me so that I can add them to the list :-)
First up...Grade weights!
just in case this slipped by you these are the grade weight for the 5th
grade:
Homework: 10
Tests: 20
Quizzes: 15
Class work: 30
Projects:25
If you have been unable to see grades on Infinite Campus,
please let us know. We've recently found out that some parents are unable to
see all classes/subjects.

Next up, Ms. Redel emailed earlier about a Life Science
in-class field trip opportunity for 5th graders. The cost is $15 Please contact
Ms. Redel if you have questions.
Mr. Mckie currently has an in-class project going and
students are doing well!
The common Narrative Assessment has been moved to October
15th :-)
Lastly, let me apologize for the craziness that was The
Week of the Projects! Initially, all dates were set before the school year
began, and the book report stood alone.
But, of course, even with the best laid plans things can go awry. That will not happen again.
Please have a fabulous Fall Break, we will be ready for
round 2 when we return!
