5th grade skate night!

Greetings Fifth grade families,

Mark your calendars for one of SPARK's most fun events - Fifth Grade Skate Night!

Friday, February 27, 2015, 7:00-9:00 pm at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church, Youth Activities Building, 1669 North Decatur Road.

This is a night exclusively for SPARK 5th grade students.  Siblings and non-SPARK students cannot be accommodated at this event.

Skate Night needs 12 volunteers to assist that night, everything from manning the skates room, being on the skating floor, giving out pizza, etc.  We already have two wonderful volunteers signed up (thank you Holly Fisher and Althea Fulton!) so we need 10 more.  Please email Lynne Kushner at lynnek@me.com to sign up.  First come, first served!

$10 includes pizza, drinks, and skates.  Scholarships are available.

Children will come home from school with the attached flyer that MUST BE SIGNED AND HANDED IN THAT NIGHT.  It is attached here in case the school copy is lost.

Holiday Class Party!

Time for some more fun in Mrs. Hall's class! Our official class party is next Friday so I will send out the signup genius this weekend! And here is the questionnaire for the Secret Snowman gift exchange. Should be fun!

Mrs. Hall's Spooky Halloween Party!

It's time to start planning our Halloween Party for Mrs. Hall's Class!

The party will be October 31 from 12:25 - 1:40.  Mrs. Hall has generously given us plenty of time to have Halloween centers/activites and lunch in the classroom. So, for those of you who want to help out, we have several opportunities to either send in food/supplies or to come in and party with us.

Here is what's on the menu (we are keeping in mind allergies even though our class is fortunate not to have any severe ones that we are aware of...just in case though, it's best to be safe regardless.)

Mummy Dogs (hot dogs wrapped in crescent rolls)

"Candy Corn" fruit parfaits (pineapple, orange slices, and yogurt)

Popcorn Monster Mouths & Fruit Dip

White cheddar Cheetos (skeleton bones)

Orange Juice

Punch

Water

Mini cupcakes (one/kid)
