What’s the Fun Run?

Each year, we come
together to raise money
to pay for important
resources for our children and teachers. The Fun Run,
operated by FundRunners, will take place on Friday, November 14th. Funds
raised will help cover PTO operating expenses for the 2014-2015 school year.
The Fun Run is a blast! It motivates children to engage in a healthy activity
while supporting our school. Students find sponsors to pledge/promise a flat
donation amount, or dollar amount for every lap that the student runs.
Donations can be made in person, by phone, or online. Students reach out
to family and friends, near and far, to ask them to donate $5, $50, or $500 to
help strengthen our school with the additional resources that make SPARK great.
We were very successful in raising money through this fundraiser last year.
Donating online makes the process extra quick and easy! And kids love the
prizes they can win for getting pledges.
The Pep Rally Kickoff

On Wednesday,
November 5th, the
SPARK Fun Run will kick-off with a Pep Rally. Fundraising packets will come
home after the kick-off. There will be alternate activities for students who do
not wish to participate in any Fun Run activities, so please
inform your teacher if you wish for your child to opt out of the Fun Run.

As of today, parents have filled 30 of the 51 volunteer spots for the Fun Run
(59%). Each shift is about 1 hour. The sign up
sheet shows when each grade runs, so you can cheer for your child during your
